Help Teen Singers Discover Their Talent

March 3, 2022 by Annie

Many teens want their singing to make an impact on others. They will often listen to their favorite artists and then try to sound like them – even if their voice feels tense and begins to hurt. Some teen singers find “canned” singing lessons online which make some good points, but with no personal feedback on range, reducing tension or being true to one’s voice.

What all singers need are personal lessons from knowledgeable teachers. Yet, even if one finds a local teacher who understands the voice deeply, getting over to their house (or even keeping a regular skype appointment) is difficult to do.

This is why the personal approach Singdaptive takes getting better at singing is so ground-breaking.

Always Personal. Always on Their Time.

Singdaptive takes a new way to singing lessons that is helping teens across the world.

Every teen is first given a chance to share their goals, their dreams and their abilities. They do this by simply listening to a Voice Teacher and recording their answers to questions – and also by singing a bit. They send this video to Singdaptive on their easy-to-use platform.

Then the Singdaptive team assigns the teen a Personal Instructor. This instructor listens to the teen carefully and makes a personal response. These personal videos can be opened and digested by the teen at any time of day or night. They also ask the teen to do more singing and share it with their Instructor.

And they’re off!

They share personal questions, answers, insights, challenges – at the pace that best suits the learner. This can be daily, or every few days, or weekly. The teen can choose to send videos back and forth with their instructor with great energy because they have a break from other commitments, and then switch to a more regular commitment because they are balancing their learning about singing with other issues.

The Benefits of Singdaptive Learning

You’re already aware that learning at Singdaptive is both personal and guided by the time of the learner. This means both that all learning comes from an instructor who knows the challenges of their student and who sends personal messages that can be opened day or night by the teen learner.

The other approach Singdaptive takes is introducing each student to wisdom and insights from more than one singing teacher.

It is one of the goals of the student’s Lead Instructor to have then listen and watch the teaching of others as a part of their work. This is because Singdaptive knows that we learn best from a team.

Getting Started – Supporting A Teenage Vocalist

Singdaptive is so confident that its approach is effective, that teens can begin the process even before paying for it! They will be asked to introduce themselves to our team, sing a bit and share their thoughts. Then, they will receive a personal response right back.

How can you help teenagers? Singdaptive sells gift certificates that you can give to that teenagers and youth can redeem for Singdaptive’s monthly standard plan for asynchronous vocal lessons.

They will see immediately what a rich, helpful process this is for their learning.

About Me

Hi! I'm Annie and I have 3 kids (all in their teens - yikes!). My mommy blog isn't all about lunches and DIY - it's also about humour. Like how my kids make fun of my texts as if I don't know how to use emojis (I DO!). Now that I have a bit more time - since my kids don't want to hang out with me (teenagers), I have taken up blogging.
