5 Tips On Preparing Your Skin For The Winter Dry Season By Forever Divine

October 14, 2019 by Annie

Winter is simply not kind to any person when it comes to their skin. A lot of people struggle with dried-out skin when the temperature drops, and it is tough to find solutions to the problem.

Forever Divine is a moisturizer that works well, and the company has been able to achieve some pretty great success with their solution. Just as important as a good moisturizer is to take some other important steps to prepare for the winter season.

Choose a cleanser for the right skin type

There are a lot of cleansers out there that people use, and a common mistake a lot of people make is not finding one that works for that specific type of skin. Not only is it important to get the right type of cleanser, but don’t be afraid to switch things up between the summer and winter season as well.

Sometimes, what works in the summer won’t work in the winter. It’s important to pay attention to the body and see how it reacts

Exfoliate

On average, a person should exfoliate a little bit more during the winter months. It helps to restore a glow with the skin, and it only needs to be done once or twice a week at most.

This is a great way to prepare the skin for the long winter dry season. Make sure to protect the skin right after exfoliating, and everything should be just fine.

Eat the right foods

If a person is constantly having issues with their skin in the winter, it might come down to a proper diet. Too many sugars and carbohydrates can cause acne breakouts.

It’s especially hard during the holiday season, because so many people are going to parties and get-togethers that have food that is not exactly the healthiest in the world. It’s fine to indulge once in a while, but try to limit the intake if the skin is starting to really look and feel differently.

Invest on a humidifier

Depending on where a person lives, a humidifier can be very valuable during the winter. Some areas around the world have little to no moisture in the air during the winter months, which dries out the skin very easily.

A humidifier works best if it is in a person’s bedroom. Some people swear by it, and will not be able to fall asleep and get a good night’s rest in the winter without one.

Shower for a shorter amount of time

This is a bit of a weird suggestion, but it does help people who are struggling with dry skin during the winter. Showers feel great to warm up, but a person does lose their natural oils when they take a shower. Try to avoid spending too much time in the shower or bathtub, as the skin could dry out once a person steps out.

If a longer shower is needed, make sure to use a moisturizer like Forever Divine to get the skin looking back to normal. Visit Forever Divine’s official website to learn more about this moisturizer of your dreams.

Now that I have a bit more time - since my kids don't want to hang out with me (teenagers), I have taken up blogging.
