The bathroom cleaning process just got easier!

December 4, 2020 by Annie

Everybody enjoys a cleansed and well-lighted bathroom. While achieving this can be a tedious task for homeowners who have a daily work routine, they can quickly achieve them by regularly checking on very few bathroom aspects.

The question is, how do you clean your bathroom?

Cleaning a bathroom can be made a rather exciting task by making it more comfortable and less time-consuming. The thought of achieving a cleansed bathroom without going through greased fingers and elbows makes the deal even more exciting for those who do not enjoy cleaning the bathroom.

As cleaning up the bathroom can be quite tedious, advisors can simplify this task for the householders by segregating the job into smaller practical tasks. The bathroom cleaning process can be taken care of by the residents by regularly doing small tasks such as disinfecting the bathroom in 2 to 3 weeks, getting rid of clogged faucets with bathroom cleanser, etc.

How to clean your bathroom?

Remove all the bathroom essentials:

This step should always be the first step while cleaning one’s bathroom. All the buckets, mugs, cups, lotions, etc., should be removed from the toilet, making it easier to clean the spaces where people have previously placed the items. Scrub the walls of the bathrooms and mop the floors to get rid of any bacteria and fungi. Wipe the surfaces of bath glass enclosures, windows, and ceiling.

Clean and disinfect the bathroom facets.

After scrubbing and wiping the bathroom walls and floors, it is necessary to disinfect various bathroom fixtures and mirrors. The bathroom fixtures mainly comprise sinks, bathtubs, showers, toilets, etc.

The detailed cleaning process for each of these fixtures is as below:

Drain cover:

People can do the drain cover cleansing by pouring the mixture of baking soda and vinegar. This method gets rid of clogged drain covers and deodorizes the surface.

Sinks:

You can clean the Sink by pouring the solution of vinegar and baking soda. You can clean the more nuanced areas in the sinks with dental floss. The dental floss gets rid of any bacteria buildup and is really easy.

However, if your sink gets a stubborn stain or hasn’t been cleaned for a long time, it’s best that you take help from professional house cleaning services. Sinks and wash basins usually come in light shades; thus, an expert must keep them spotless.

Shower:

The shower applies scrubbing powder on it and spray cleansing fluids to clean the head’s surface for deep cleansing. Soak the showerhead in a vinegar solution overnight to get rid of hard water remains and soap scums.

To clean the surface of the showerhead surface, use dryer sheets. The dryer sheets are used by adding a few drops of water to them and gently scrubbing the showerhead surfaces. This scrubbing gets rid of all the deposits on the showerhead.

Mirrors:

The residents can clean the stains, dust, and dirt on the mirrors with a black tea solution. This solution is made by adding black tea bags to hot water and then waiting to cool down. By applying this solution and with tannic acid leaves the mirrors squeaky clean.

Your bathroom should be cleaned at a regular interval to maintain a healthy lifestyle and proper hygiene for everyone using it. If you have a joint family, make sure to clean your bathroom once a week. A nice and clean bathroom is loved by one and all. Although cleaning your entire bathroom is quite a tedious task, the results are worth all the effort.

About Me

Hi! I'm Annie and I have 3 kids (all in their teens - yikes!). My mommy blog isn't all about lunches and DIY - it's also about humour. Like how my kids make fun of my texts as if I don't know how to use emojis (I DO!). Now that I have a bit more time - since my kids don't want to hang out with me (teenagers), I have taken up blogging.
